I am using Win CVS version 1.3.20.3 Beta 20 Build 3. When I try to update my local working directory, I see this line in the processing window:

cvs update -t

Then it says invalid option -t.

I have no idea where the -t is coming from. Does anyone know why this is happening?

I was experiencing some another problems with that version
of WinCVS, now I am using version 2.0.0.2 and it's OK

The -t option means "Update using last checkin time."

Don't know why it's giving you that error, but if you can,
install version 2.0.0.2 of WinCVS from

In the 1960s you needed the power of two Comodore64s to get a rocket to the moon. Now you need a machine which is a vast number of times more powerful just to run the most popular GUI.

This appears tied to the WinCVS update dialog's "Update Options" tab, item "Update using last checking time".

I suspect I mistakenly enabled this with an errant click, perhaps you did as well. In our case we are using client 2.0.0.2, but our server "CVSNT" appears not to support the option. Disabling the option, which is what I want anyway, avoids the issue for me.
