hello,
following two problems/questions!
1.
how can i solve the following problem?
if i checkout a module from cvs, the files like *.ksh lost there execute permissions on unix(aix)! how can i solve this?

2.
can i checkout a module without all the cvs infos like the cvs folders? or how can i handle best if i want to checkout a module which is ready for going productivly! for a productivly stand i don't want all the cvs infos and i want for example create a tar file of it to update my installations!

thanks

Giovanne,

1) Try importing the executeable as a binary file using the -k option. Can't find my cvs hand book otherwise I'd give you chapter and verse.

2) Simplest way would be to do a module export as normal then rm -r cvs.

I'm not familiar with cvs. But I suggest you using the export command instead of checkout.
