Cut, copy and paste sounds

Before I had to re-install XP Pro (SP2) after my computer crashed, I had sounds attached to cut, copy and paste.
Now, no longer do I have sounds but cut, copy and paste do not show in the Windows sounds in the control panel.
I must have installed a small app some time ago but cannot remember the name. Can anyone help please ?

I would try a system restore first.

Run-msconfig

then follow the GUI to go back to before you installed the app.

Could this be a program bundled with the sound card? Cherck the cd or website of the manufacturer
