Customized Restore From Tape Backup

I implemented a solution consisting of a Netbackup 5.1 Enterprise Media Server attached to a Disk Staging Unit and Robotic Tape Library via a SAN.Client data is backuped up first to the Disk Storage Unit.The data on disk staging unit is then backed up to Tape Storage based on predefined policy.Everything works well as configured.I have tested data Restore(which by default is) from the Disk Staging unit, and that was successful.However I want to customize my restore to be from Tape Storage just to verify the integrity of my Tape backup.

I guess you have two copies.

Primary copy on the DSSU
Copy 1 on tape


I blieve, that a restore is done from
the primary copy (default). Therefore, you must promote
the image on tape to be the <primary copy>.
