I have an application in Access 2003 with several input forms and a report run from a form after the user inputs a date. I created toolbars for the forms and the report page. Examples of names for the toolbars that I use are MainForm Toolbar, History Toolbar, and Report Toolbar. The MainForm Toolbar is used on most of the forms and the Report Toolbar is used when the report is displayed. The database is split with the front-end converted to .mde format and that file is pushed to the user's desktop. On my PC, the toolbars are correct. But when the .mde file is pushed to a test PC using a test login, the Report Toolbar appears on EVERY form and the report page. The forms display 2 toolbars - the MainForm Toolbar and the Report Toolbar. This also happens when a co-worker logs in with her login and accesses the server and the .mde file but does not happen with my login. I searched this site for answers but don't know where to go from here. Thanks for any help.

How did you create the toolbars? Did you create them with a macro/vba?

Does the "Toolbar" property on the "Other" tab (found in the form's property sheet; design view) specify the correct toolbars on the desktop pc's?

CharlieT302,

I created the toolbars by right-clicking in the menu/toolbar area and picking Customize. Yes, the properties reflect the correct toolbar. After I submitted this question, I continued to research and found something about the way the shortcut on the desktop calls the application may cause a similar problem. This was in thread181-1189636. Not sure if that's my problem or not because later when I went back to the test PC, it was okay.

Thanks for your response.
