customers calling can't hear announcement 1

Hello everyone,

We have dedicated server for Voicemail Pro and Avaya manager, and i'm not so familiar with them.

First problem:
Outside Caller can't hear Announcement 1 neither 2, even if all agents on the hunt group (CCR group) are busy or logoff, the caller will stuck with music on hold

Second problem:
All the agents on the Hunt Group (CCR group) can't make use of appearance a=,b=,c= when they get an outside line (through Voicemail Pro) they don't know if there is any client/caller is waiting for them until they hang up from their current session


all above problems doesn't happen at all if you try to reach directly the extension of hunt group instead of dialing through voicemail node, so what do you think is the problem here?

1: Is the nouncement button ticked against the hunt group, a valid announcement recorded and SUBMITTED ( avaya says 'saved')?
2: hunt group settings. Lower your wrap up timer. What type of hunt group is it? Collective? Collective CW?
Look at the settings for agent status on X.

1: I tried to record announcement by *91N# but it rings for 5 sec and says "your call is answer by Avaya IP office, extension ### is not available to leave message..etc"
2: I'm using 'Longest waiting' mode
Collective CW is working with appearance but for Longest waiting just one call
 
*91N# is only for embedded voicemail.

You have to login to group mailbox and switch to greetings menu by pressing 3.
 
How to login to group mailbox? I've telephone model 1616 and there is only Greeting ( no announcement1-2 ) record with message button..

Also about waiting calls, any idea how to make it work with appearance a=,b= for 'longest waiting' mode?
 
Create a short code i.e. 98N/Voicemail Collect/"?"N

Setup a Voicemail code for the group.

Dial 981000 (supposing the group number is 1000) enter code when asked and you will hear how many left messages are in that box. Press 3 and here carefully what the lady tells you.

i recorded one greeting message for extension 400 'hunt group' and set it for all calls & external calls, now how to set it for announcement [smile] ?
 
Usually you get the options to record day greeting, night greeting, first announcement and second announcement. BTW I am talking about VM in IP Office mode.
 
it ask me only to record greeting 1,2,3.. etc nothing else and then asked me to use it for all calls/internal calls/external calls..etc

What do you mean by " VM in IP Office mode"?
 
yes indeed, i have changed it to IP Office mode and now when i try to dial 98N, it send me directly to my voicemail extension, without asking me to enter the extension and password.

how to login to the group extension now :)?
 
and BTW about appearance buttons,
i'm using 'assisted transfer' to flow calls from VMPro to group name 'CCR', and connected the busy option to another 'assisted transfer CCR' with voice note but still wont work, even if all group busy/logoff it will keeps ringing till no answer timeout, so the other appearance buttons wont work either

- also any idea how to play message while ringing from VMPro to group?
 
when i dial 98-40 it will stop me here and take extension 40 ( which i don't have! ) fixed by add # to '98N#'

ok so i have access to queue and still in queue now, and i found out that they are already configured and has recorded messages (the same),
then why it is still not playing while busy or exceeded the 5 sec announcement?
