customer ordered esi card . how do i put it in

im new to nec ,how do i install a new station card.

Which system? Do you have available slots? Are all of the 66 blocks for the system punched down?

It is an eltra elite 48. Plenty of slots open.

It can't plug into slot 2... but it can plug into any other open slot. Then you can program the extensions and so forth with 4-10 and whatnot.

I am also new to NEC but I just did the same install today. You can use slots 3-7. Then go to card slot assignment programming LK7 LK1.

If the MDF was alreadly punched down then follow the install guide for each pair to the phone.
