I have a customer that currently has a MICS/NAM System (All 7310 Phones) and they are expanding at Headquarters and also to a remote location. They would like to elimate copper lines and go to PRI for in/out traffic. They will be having a Point to Point T1 line installed for data between HQ and the Remote Site.
All calls to remote site will inbound through HQ.
My questions are the following:
- If we go with a BCM400 at Main and a BCM50 at Remote will the customer be able to internal page and park from HQ to remote side through IP Trunking?
- Are there any issues with 7310 phones on the BCM400 and/or BCM50?
- Would it be better to use centralized voicemail or activate Call Pilot on BCM50 with only 10 users? There will be employees that travel between sites and have a phone with ext. at each loc.
- Any recommendations for a knowledgeable Nortel BCM dealer to sell to myself as an out of state vendor?
