Hello,

I have an issue (I think...?) on my VMPRo when I'm trying to use custom prompts to announce queue position.

I found here that we can do that :
Trying to follow what he said on this topic, but nothing can work well.

I have a Queue Position module, and when i'm trying to put my customs number prompts wavs (the format is ok). First, I can't choose which one i'm gonna play, but that's ok; I read that I have to put the good filenames at the right place and the magic gonna happen.
Spoilers : no magic here.
I've tried put my files here : /opt/vmpro/Wavs/CustomPrompts/NumericPrompts and just in /opt/vmpro/Wavs/NumericPrompts

For the record, i'm on an application server.

Thank's for your answer !

Thank's for your answer !

It's okay if I put an entry message. But in the specific tab, I can't play custom position message, and that's my problem.

I see,
If you record a test prompt in "Custom Number Prompts" (which appears all you can do in this area)
Then choose the "Prompts played after the position" (where it lets you choose a prerecorded wav file)
Does this play the the first recorded prompt followed by the second?

Even this way, it plays the default "1st" (in queue position) message and then the prompt played after position.

Ok, I got it working.
I renamed my "cust1.wav" file to "cust1.opus" in /opt/vmpro/Wavs/Custom/NumericPromtps

Thank's for your help anyway !

I hope this thread can help anyone.

Okay, so I have an update.

It's only the first message working. I thought I tested it, but my client came back and told me that other message position do not work.

It's really strange.

Does anyone have something for me ?

It's strange it won't accept the wav format. It will accept both for menu greetings but wants only OPUS in the queue position.

The developers have regularly forgotten the use of other prompt folders other than Custom. So all the other folders end up with different settings and methods that have to be used to access them.

The only way I've every got custom prompts working is through the Queue Position action settings using the VMPro client.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Ok, I got it working for real this time.

In the Voicemail Pro client, with the "Queue Position" module, it can see the message I have put in /opt/vmpro/Wavs/Custom/NumericPromtps (because I can see the message duration) BUT it can only play the message from /opt/vmpro/Wavs/CustomPrompts/NumericPromtps

This is very curious.

But I tested the 4 position from 1 to 4 and it's okay.
