Custom countdown script?

Could someone please make me a simple countdown script, yes i know there are many out there but none that do this:

I would like it to countdown to the HOUR, many only count down to the day. Could someone make this? i dont mind weather its displayed in a text box or other. Also when it get to the actual date could it display a custom message?

The day i want it to cound down to is:

20th Dec 2000 21:00

Also, could the countdown include days left, hours left, minutes left and seconds left? thanks

Yeah i've seen that one and others like that before, but as i've said, that can only be configured to count down to a DAY. I need one that can countdown to an HOUR.

With all due respect, asking someone to do your work for you is not the purpose of these forums. We're all willing and happy to help you learn, but we're not going to do your job for you. We expect you to do some research yourself (unless you're willing to share your paycheck).

Try modifying the script that jared pointed you at. If you have specific questions while doing that, we'll be more than happy to help you out.

The script also counts hours and seconds BTW... and has a custom message to be displayed when the day arrives... jared@aauser.com

Ok sorry to make it sound the way it sounded. I didnt mean it totally like that.

Was just wondering if i could get one...or if anyone knew where one was.

To be totally honest i dont have the slightest clue about javascript

jaredn: I understand what your saying, and this is hard to explain but its not the numbers it shows counting, its the actual date it counts down to. I hope you understand.

Oh by the way the one i had found was at

but it gave a javascript error when placed in a forum on ezboard (it seemed to work fine on the main page)
