Custom Colours on Banded Reports 2

I am using the following standard formula to color bar my report under the section expert. Is it possible to use a custom colour for the bar instead of the silver below. All my attempts have resulted in Black bars

If Remainder(RecordNumber,2) = 0 Then Silver Else NoColor

You should be using: color(R,B,G). What have you tried?

Provided you know RGB

eg
If Remainder(RecordNumber,2) = 0 Then rgb(200,122,122) Else white

To find RGB just go to font and select custom colour, select colour you want and palette will show RGB, don't worry about hue etc.

I see that color(r,g,b) and rgb(r,g,b) are equivalent. I didn't know about the ability to see the resulting color by using the dropdown (for either font or background)->more...->custom colors. Thanks, Ian (*).
