Custom Address from GAL not resolving 1

I'm running Exchange v4. I have tried to add custom addresses to my Global Address List and any messages sent to them come back as undeliverable. I've checked spelling and case. The wierd part is, if I use these same addresses from my personal contacts list they work fine. Currently, my employer has put a freeze on spending, so I can't upgrade right now. Any ideas?
 
Make sure that the list w/ the custom recipents is present under the Addressing tab in the local (client) mail profile.

Not much help, but it has been a looooooong time since I've dealt with v.4, but I don't recall any special problems with what you are trying to do. Chad Stiller, MCSE
