Hi,
I am running backup exec 10, I have scheduled backups nightly, weekly, monthly and have been running them w/o issue since August,06. I came into work this morning and noticed my nightly backup did not work and the dates changed on my monthly job shows a start date of 5/31/07, and my weekly shows a date of 11/11/06. When I go into the policy of that job and look at the schedule it shows all the scheduled dates correctly. Then when I close out it adds a month to the start date of the monthly backup. This is very strange and have not seen this before. Has anybody else? and how did you correct it? I rebooted my server that holds backup exec but that did not change anything when I logged back in. Thanks for any assistance..

Brian

Did you find an answer? This is happening to me as well and I blame the time change. I even created a new job and it still happens. I'm home sick with the flu and was hoping for a quick solution. Please let me know if you found anything.

Thanks!

Have not found an answer yet. I have tried getting support from Veritas but has not helped. Keep me posted if you find an answer and I will do the same. Thanks for the reply..

These aren't running on an Exchange server are they? Exchange botched the DST change this time. MS has app notes about it.

Actually my exchange server seemed to be fine. I can't figure it out. I setup a job to run this specific date at this specific time and it was fine, but as soon as I try to run by schedule the time just starts scrolling through.

I'm having the exact same problem! Every single time when I re-save the policy settings the times are correct. But whithin one or two days time is being added to the schedule.

Is there anyone else with the same problem? I'll try contacting Symantec about this...
