Is there a way to format a number like 2379 to $2,379.00 from within the expression builder?

You can use:

Format(numberhere, "Currency")

or

Format(numberhere, "$#,##0.00")

both produce the results.... Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former. (Albert Einstein)

Thank you... It worked great.

Would anyone know if it's also possible to have a number like 2379 to be displayed as "Two Thousand Three Hundred and Seventy Nine"? or something similar to that?

Not inherent in access....but there are at least two FAQs within Tek-Tips (I know at least one in the Module FAQs and I think one in the Reports FAQs) that provide functions that will do this for you....
