Currency Format Word Table

How can automatically format an entry into a Word table to the currency format?

Example: Enter 6957.11
Desired Display Result $6,957.11
 
Sort by date Sort by votes
Table > Formula > Number Format.

NOTE to have a cell in currency format, you must have a formula.

If you are requiring a single cell to be currency format, consider using a formfield.

I was trying to avoid having to lock the form. The user needs to be able to insert and delete rows in the table.

Consider creating a UserForm then.
