We have a customer with an IP500 and we have connected 4 sip trunks via a TPlink ADSL router, all works well but quality not that good due to poor broadband, consequently we have had a new service installed via a Drayteck manged by Talk Talk router and here is where the problems start. When the supplier switches the SIP trunks to the Draytech the lines work OK but we have no call control on incoming calls, we cant hold, park or transfer. Internally all hold/park transfer issues are fine and when we make outgoing calls again fine with hold transfer etc its only incoming calls via the Draytech that don't work correctly. If we switch the SIP traffic back to the other service/router IP all works fine again. We have contacted Talk Talk about the router and they say its pretty much default apart form SIP Alg turned off and port 5060 forwarded to IPO LAN.

Am i missing something here? has anyone had a similar experience?

Thanks

Re-Invite on the SIP Trunk.

If it's on, turn off. If off, turn on.
Test.

Also it would help to know who the sip provider is (it seems that no 2 providers ever have things set the same :-( )

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear
