Cups print server

I setup ubuntu 9.10 and installed CUPS. I set CUPS to hold jobs indefinitely so lab manager can approve or reject print jobs. I am having issues setting up the clients and having the clients print to the cups print server. in windows xp, it displays an error as soon as the print job is sent. any advice

What error messages appear in Windows and do you see any specific errors in the CUPS log files?

In windows client I get error on the printer status screen, I have not checked the CUPS log

Please provide the exact error msg otherwise no one here will have a hope of helping you.

I checked the CUPS error log and its blank. On the windows XP client machine, as soon as I send the print job and I check the printer status the printer shows 1 document in queue and the status shows error. There is no error in the windows xp event viewer.

guys,

I figured out the problem, it was permissions problem therefore cups server wouldn't allow windows to print to it
