How do I calculate a cummulative total in a query?

hi Nokaoi, in the query design window, be sure to click on the totals button after you select your criteria and fields, then select total: 'sum' for the field which you want a total for.

hope this helps,
nmc

Thanks, but I'm still missing something since I get the total of the field and not the cummulative total.

i might not be understanding your question... what are some examples of what your results look like now, and can you show me what it 'should' look like?

nmc

Here is what I mean by cummulative total. I guess another term would be running total.

PRODUCT SALES CUM_SALES
X 100 100
Y 150 250
Z 125 375
