CUE - Mailbox to play message only

Hi,

Is it possible to setup a Cisco Unity Express mailbox so that it just plays a message, and does not allow a caller to leave a message?

Instead of a mailbox, you probably need to set up a call handler, it is pretty easy to do, with instructions in the help menu.

CUE 7.x has call handler capability. I don't think earlier versions have this feature. Also, I think there a setting that you can tweek on the specific mailbox that will not let it take a message.

Thanks for the responses, I configured my autoattendant script to point to another script which just plays a prompt so didn't have to use a mailbox.

I have one CUCM and two MGCP gateways, registered to the CUCM.
One MGCP local to CUCM and another remote through WAN.


MGCP1---------wan-------MGCP2

If a call is placed in MGCP2 through PSTN and a WAN link is failed in the middle of the call. Will call still be active?

If the call will still active wht should be the configuration..?
