CUE GUI says Lost Contact all the time

Hi

we have just done a CME 4.2 install with an AIM-CUE module fitted into a 2801 router with CUE 2.3 loaded

CME is working fine and so is CUE as we can leave messages and recieve them etc...

but I'm trying to get the GUI's working so that the customer can do adds moves and changes.

the CME GUI is working fine

and I can get onto the CUE by CLI all ok, whenever I log into the GUI it says that CUE has lost contact with the CME and please enter the hostname, username and password again

I do the and it then says that it can't contact the CME and we go around in a loop

I have done a few searches and looked at the help and it says that this is either a network issue or a username and password don't match what is on the CME

I can ping from the CUE CLI to the CME and I can ping from the CME CLI to the CUE and also from a PC to the CUE

so I don't think it is a network issue.

I have checked the config on both sides and as far as I can tell all the user names and passwords match.

is there something I'm missing

CME commands

CUE commands

ok I solved it

there was an access list blocking it

DOH!!!!!
