CUCMBE Exchange Email Wav Attachment

Need a bit of help here.

Running Cisco Unified Call Manager Business Edition 6 and can’t seem to get it to send email notification for VM with wav attachment to my exchange server. I have smtp set to send email to my exchange address but all I get is the following message:



Message Notification
New Message
Voice Count: 1

1. 3375551212


To access the message go to

https://ccm/ciscopca.

I can access the messages through IMAP and get the attachments but can’t find anything on how to send the attachment to exchange. Can someone tell me how that is done.

I would greatly appreciate it.

BTW CUCMBE is running on VMWARE with started licenses. Just setting this up as a proof of concept.

Message notification is just what it says, Notification. It is doing what you told it to do, notify you of the new message.
With IMAP, your client pulls a copy of the message from the UC server.
What you want UC to do is Forward the message to your Exchange server or have your Exchange server pull the message from the UC server.
I don't know enough about how to do it but maybe someone else does.

CUCMBE is a voice mail only solution (since it is running Unity Connection and not Unity)and will not do unified messaging. IMAP is your only path to integrate as far as I know.
If you want true unified you will have to go with full Unity.
