I have one CUCM and two MGCP gateways, registered to the CUCM.
One MGCP local to CUCM and another remote through WAN.

MGCP1---------wan-------MGCP2

If a call is placed in MGCP2 through PSTN and a WAN link is failed in the middle of the call. Will call still be active?

If the call will still active wht should be the configuration..?

If the call came in on gateway MGCP2 and was calling a phone at the MGCP2 site, it will stay up. Once a call has been established the path would be from the gateway to the phone so if the WAN went down, there would be no interruption in the path. You should look into SRST Survivable Remote Site Telephony. It would allow all your remote site phones to register to the Gateway during a WAN outage and continue to operate at least locally.

One thing to note...

If you are at site2 (mgcp2) and you are on a call going out THAT PSTN or to a phone on site2 and the link goes down you will continue to have that phone call, but your phone features will become inactive. If you are on a WAN call between site1 and site2 and the link goes down, the call will be dropped.

Now if you have SRST configured on your site2 gateway, and the link goes down, like pndscm said, your phones will reregister with that gateway until your link is reestablished. SRST is not a fun thing to configure your first time around, I would definitely play with it in a lab enviroment if possible before deploying it to your remote site.

Thanks for your quick replies.

SRST is nothing but it will act as a H323 gateway right?

pretty much, until the WAN link comes back and reestablishes that link to the CUCM
