CTX WinAdmin

I'm attempting to install the WinAdmin software for Toshiba onto my laptop, and I keep getting an error message: "Unable to find default website on localhost" Does this mean that I need to be connected to the switch while I'm installing the software? Thanks In Advance.

you must install IIS onto your laptop first including all other networking add ons.

This will be in control panel,add remove programs,add components.

What's the trick to using the connection on WinAdmin? Every time I try to use that piece of the software I get an error message: "phonebook entry not found". I've set it up following the manual step by step. Thanks in advance.

Are you checking the dial in box?
If your doing it locally just change the ip address to the ctx's range.

If your not sure go into programming.

Yes, I'm checking the dial up box, but the error meesage still pops up. Any other place to look?

If you are dialing into a CTX with WinAdmin, then did you set up a Dial-Up Network connection in windows with the Name (Exactly) "RemoteCTX1"?

If you are connecting thru ethernet then uncheck that box.
