CTRL + C do not work 1

Hi all,
A funny thing with Microsoft Word.
I write down something and want copy with "ctrl + c" and paste with "ctrl + V" but it do not work.
"CTRL + V" paste something but not what i've copied with ctrl + c.
Sometimes it appears an omega sign.... instead of the copied text.

What's wrong ?

Hi all,

Thanks to all, I learned a lot.
Now it works.
The problem ?
We have overwrited the normal.dot. I know we still do not know why the file was corrupted but the user was a little bit angry.
