I've got a site with a 200 ICP... Their receptionist wants to be able to pull up call history on her computer regarding her telephone and the buttons that are on it.
The call history button works well for the calls directly to her extension, but not for the Key Lines that appear on her phone.
Software version is currently 4.0, but will soon be 5.0 (or latest when upgraded)
Her current phone is a 5220 with 2-PKM 48's... She's getting a 5340 to 1-Eliminate the PKM's, 2-to allow her to use the new headset.
Our solutions are narrowed down to Your Assistant or a 3rd party app.
Since Mitel's Your Assistant is soon to be a dead product, nor do I want to deploy a server so she can have the app on her PC, I'm ruling it out right off.
I have an old Freebee Your Assistant 3.0.9... for a while it was given as a Desktop integration when you purchase a deskphone... I doubt it will be useful with the 5340 phone... Plus the release 5.0 software says the minimum YA software version is 3.2.
UC Express and UC Advanced don't support the 200 ICP.

The question I have for you all... does anyone know of a 3rd party app that will allow us to integrate a PC to the 200ICP and specifically the 5340.

Hi, I may not be understanding your needs, but would monitoring the SMDR do the task?

I believe that anything dialing in or out of the controller is logged.

Jim,
Thanks, but simple SMDR monitoring isn't enough. I showed them the latest version of Your Assistant on my laptop. With it, they get screen pops showing the call as they get it. If they miss the call, they get the call logs. These logs are only on that user's PC.

The only issue that I can't seem to figure out, is they asked if these logs can be printed.
They are from a .txt or .xml document somewhere on my pc. If I can find them, I think that will solve their latest problem.

Note: The Your Assistant or UC software must have MiTai enabled on the phone system for it to work. Enabled by default on the 3300, but licensed on the 200ICP.

Hmmmm I've been mucking around with VB to replace our CA$H call account software - nothing wrong with the product but its just way over kill for our needs.

From what I reading, it sounds like the SMDR could do what you need. I just checked out the Your Assistant software, pretty snazzy, but if all they need is for 1 person to track calls and have a pop-up notifying them of a missed call, that bit of code could be slapped up in a couple hours.

And of course printing would be easy, just program a print button via VB.

Just thinking out loud here...

Thanks Jim... let us know how it works out with the VB app.
