I need to know how unr vs ctd affects a phone. I have been used to using unr on phones and cfxd. Do I need to change all these phones back to ctd for any reason?

CTD (conditional toll denied) is a safety net for long distance calls. Best practice would be all phones set to CTD. UNR is unrestricted class of service.

Use CTD to let NCOS control the telephone restriction. Use of UNR is leaving you more vulenerable.

With the Unr is it just effecting long distance or international as well.

What can I do to change maybe 100 phones to ctd quickly.

If you have procromm you can write a script easy enough to change them.

If any of your phones are ACD, then you will need to out them and rebuild them. Some do the change on them, but I play it safe...

We controll the international dialing in TGAR not NCOS. Does setting these sets to UNR affect the dialing of international calls if its controller in TGAR?

Can these changes to DTN be done easy on OTM?

if your blocking with tgar then ctd and unr will not change that and i can not answer anything about otm.. mine works great, due to the fact that i turned off that server 3 days after i walked into the room.. i have installed it, but am not a big fan

On the switch is there an easy way to change all my phones to ctd quickly.

Not on the switch, except manual Easy Change each set. You can do a global change on OTM.

Learn Procomm. The scripts are much quicker and you can tailor them to your needs.

yes/no
depends if you use emulation, and have documentation. Can record a macro, edit the script to pull tn from excel for the simple easy chg. Most use procom, I use reflections with visual basic. If you don't use a emulation pkg allowing scripting, could be doing some database entry there.
