I have a client who has XP on one PC and Windows Vista Home Edition on his other 2 PC's. The CTA 100 Software works fine on XP but I get errors loading the Toolkit on the 2 machines with Windows Vista Home Edition. Once the Productivity Suite finishes loading it does not recognize the extension it is connected to.
Has anyone ran across this? Does anyone have a fix for this?

My first guess is Nortel does not support a Vista environment with the CTA; this is the case with other Nortel products (and they sometimes don't work well or at all). Occasionally, however, a product seems to work ok with Vista. If you are Nortel authorized, it may be worth a call to Nortel Support.

I cannot run the software in XP Compatibility mode until I can get it loaded on there. Any thoughts?

Just bought a laptop with Vista on it then realized most of Nortel's stuff does not recognize Vista. There are some exceptions but not many and all dealing with the 400's, not the BCM 50s.
