I am using CR 8.5 and CE 8.5

I have the(column) headings in the group heading section.

When I export frin CR into a CSV file the first row/record is the headings.

When I schedule the report in Crystal Enterprise all the headings appear in each record/row.

The same happens if I use character delimited output.

It seems to be ok if I use excel (data only) output, but would prefer a CSV file!

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this.

I did apply the most recent CE hot fixes this morning but nothing changed.

Thanks
Joyce

Hi,
Which behavior do you want?
Most apps the can use CSV files ( like Excel or Access)
let you indicate that the first row contains the field names, so the behavior of CR in this respect is correct.

To clarify, I would like to get a CSV file with the headings in the first row. (this is what I get from CR)

WHen scheduled on CE it puts the headings in EVERY row, preceding the data.

If I have 10 fields in the report, the first 10 fields in each row of the csv file are the headings followed by ten fields containing the data.
