I need your help to set up a One X server for a customer. They had a Win 2003 server running Avaya One X version 8.0.84. The service was running great but the server was at end of it's life cycle. So they decided to move the One X service to a new virtual server with Win 2008. After installing the One X service on the new server I cant get the CSTA provider to connect. Under Component Status, I see CSTA-Provider Failed and the Additional Info field says "Provider SAP Login Failed".

I have already done the following in an attempt to solve this issue:
-Removed old server from network
-Checked IPO security settings for EnhTcpaService
-Erased security setting to ensure they are set to default
-Reinstalled One X

Not sure what to do next but open this thread for your input. Please let me know what you think can help fix this issue.

Thanks

personally I would use the applications server rather than the windows variant of One-x especially as it is running as a VM

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

does your VM have suficent ram assigned for the one-x it requires 2gb minimum or it will not start

Yeah it has 4GB of RAM. I got it to start after I disabled UAC but its the synchronization between the One X and IPO that is giving me the issue.

You need to start over as you need to install it with uac disabled.
You installed it with uac enabled.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

I already reinstalled after I disabled UAC and still nothing.

I had this happen when upgrading from 8.1 to 9.0. I believe the fix was to delete and recreate the EnhTcpaService user and re-create it in security settings.
