CSS not validating, not sure why, please help?

Hi folks I'd really appreciate you hel with this: A site i am designing http:lancashirenow.co.uk/index3.html testing it against the w3c validator says the html is valid, but when testing the css i get an error sayin i must use valid html. If anyone could please have a look at the site I'd be ver grateful (W3C XHTML & CSS validation buttons are on the actual site)

Edit your .css file.
After rules for selector "#navlist a:hover" there is extra "}".

thanks folks. I'm new to designing sites the 'proper' way - been hard work, but worth it (I'm working on the full (no tables)css layout as we speak thanks again.
