Hey everyone,

Im currently in the midst of building an rpg website using the basic code from another website that I had before. However for some reason the content container layer is coming up virtually inactive and it refuses to allow me to link to another website or page. Using the <a href="url here">Name</a> format it just comes up with the name and no link. Running my mouse over the text it comes up dead, and does not recognize the link. I have entirely rebuilt the stylesheet and I still cant quite figure it out. the url for the website is and you can see on the first page (below the picture) the "history of the heirloom" link is currently dead. Please feel free to ask if you need to know anything else... im going to keep plugging away at this, but hopefully someone can help me clear stuff up...

Thanks in advance!

Your #main is positioned absolutely over the whole page, also over all the content. Basically, you're clicking on the #main div and the link is below it. Try playing with the z-index (make sure that the other element is positioned relatively and has a higher z-index than your #main). Also get rid of center. This whole design could be done much better, but what I described could be a quick and dirty fix.

Im still fairly new to the whole thing and just learning as I creep along. Could you perhaps give me an example of what i would need to do for this "quick and dirty fix" I would like to get it up and then go about trying to make the design better...

nvm i figured out the quick fix... thanks a lot! I will definately take your advice and fix it up after!
