I am trying to change a website for a friend of mine. The site was created using a template and Frontpage. The website has a store and on this page I want to remove all the products and put a statement that the store is being remodeled. I am going to redo his site, I can do standard CSS and HTML but I think I am running accross issues with the FP stuff. I am using Sharepoint Designer to make the modifications and Core FTP to upload the data. On the page I am trying to edit it appears to have a main container (body1) and then several wrappers for each item (wrapper Catalog) If i delete even a single image from the Wrapper catalog, and upload it, the page doesn't display properly. All the menu bars don't display. The page is populated by several include statements but these seem to not display properly when the page is modified. I have a feeling it has something to do with FP extensions, but I can't figure it out. Any suggestions?

I feel like we cannot help you. If you've removed relevant parts of the HTML code (that is, div elements -- or anything really -- JUST inside the table cell with a class "body1") and the page broke in entirely different areas, chances are that you're disrupting something in FrontPage and since we cannot see your FP setup, we cannot advise you.

If you have deleted parts of the table elements that were used to lay the entire page out, then you should be more careful at what you delete. Try something like Firebug, to see which elements are where.

I am not sure about FP now, last used it many many years ago but it used to be that you could not just change a page and ftp it to the server because it broke the code - might be worth checking what version of FP the site was built in.

JKMitchel-That was exactly the issue. Frontpage creates the actual page based on the include files you have and then publishes the actual code so FTP doesn't work. It is a little different but can be convenient and a pain too! Thanks for your help!
