Hey Guys!

I have a page in dreamweaver, but someone else has developed a .css style sheet for a security page..

How do I add the security .css to 'merge' into my template?

I looked at the knowledge base and can't get the linking an external css style sheet to work.

Thanks

Hi Cloudy,

Is the css sheet located in your web directory? When you click the "Attach Style Sheet" off of the CSS window, and browse to it.
What happens?

It will also depend on what styles have been set up inside of the css sheet. "If you feel a post has been helpful to you, click on the link at the bottom of their post to cast a vote for "TipMaster Of The Week". You don't need to be the one who asked the question to vote"

Hi schase!

Tell you what: goto and click on the 'tracking button'

This will let you see the problem!

It'll also let you see what Im trying to do!!

Your help is appreciated!

Cheers,
Cloudy!

Hi Cloudy,

Ok, I take it you are looking for the same theme as on your homepage.

It looks as if the css sheet is referenced - but not applied.

Try opening the page in dreamweaver,
open the css window. - you should see the css file in the window, if you do not - click attach style sheet button, browse for it, select it. then okay to the page in dreamweaver again.

Once the areas are highlighted - click once on the style sheet name in the css window.

This should do what you want.

If it doesn't, hollar and I'll send you my email addy to send the pages along so I can take a deeper look.

Hi Schase,

Yes i'd like to have the homepage theme 'attached' to the .css sheet, but Ive had a go at attaching the .css to the page and it still seems to be confused!

Everytime I click the Tracking button on the web, it just goes straight into the .css style, without the layout of the homepage...

Phew!! Im getting ^&^&^& at this...!!

Cheers!

Cloudy

lol ok, send to:

schase@elpasohonda.com

Send the template, a page that is working good (like index) and the affected login page.
