Running NT 4.0 Sp 6a. I researched this problem at Microsoft and found article Q233323 which provides a post Sp 5 hotfix. Problem is I am at Sp 6a. I went through the list of bug fixes in Sp6a and did not find this problem listed.

What happens is my users will log on and open a number of applications, then the machine just hangs and is unresponsive, sometimes for several minutes. If I launch taskmanager I find the CPU locked up at 100% usage, with csrss.exe as the culprit.

Unfortunately I am not at liberty to discuss many of the applications we are running, but Outlook 2000 as well as an X-client are among them.

Any suggestions out there?

Thanks,
John

UPDATE- the Sp 6a bug fix list DOES list this as fixed, sorry, I just missed it. Of course, I still have the problem:)
