CSM1000 keeps losing time. Can I connect it to my network to sync time 2

Nortel csm1000 keeps losing time weekly. Have to keep adjusting lin ld2. Is there a way to connect it to my network to sync the time with it.

There are adjustments you can make in LD 2. Check out SDTA in the manual.

What release is your system as I think there was a fix with a patch for 4.5w.

Set daily time adjustment
The time of day can be adjusted during the midnight routines to compensate for a fast or slow
system clock.
To print the current adjustment: TDTA X y
To set the adjustment: SDTA X y -- X Y
Legend
x = 0 (negative increment) or 1 (positive increment) y = 0-25 second adjustment in increments
of 100 ms

Newer versions (6.0+) can be synced to an Internet NTP time server.

For example on 7.5 browse to your Sig Server, Base Manager > Date and Time. Edit the Network Time Protocol section, leave NTP server type as Primary server, Type of clock soruce = External, then add the IP addresses of your NTP servers.

and make sure you set the UTC offset in LD117 for NTP or your time will be off

Actually you use NTP with 5.0 systems.

$.5 will work but are a PITA to setup
