CSE1000E Rls 5 & AudioCodes 1

Hi,

Anyone has a system with Rls 5 and AudioCodes. I have a customer where faxes just don't work behind an AudioCodes. If we connect the fax to a Media Gateway the faxes work fine. The connection between the AudioCodes and the CSE1000 is H323.

We had an issue with audio codes on Rls 5 and they said that they had not been tested or appoved on RLS 5 yet and didn't guarantee them to work.

esoare I don't understand your point! I need to know because Nortel recommended the AudioCodes to the customer, but my company was chosen to do the implementation. We are in the middle of everithing.

Which audiocodes box do you have?

I have the MP114 (4 port Analog over IP) registered and working on my NRS v5.00.31, however, I am using SIP, not H323.

I can supply any of the setup info I have on my box. The only difference should be the transport protocol used.

If you need setup info from my audiocodes box I will be back in the office on Monday and can help then.

We have the chance to set it up over Sip as well. This would give us some margin. If you can paste your AudioCodes ini file that woudl be great.!

It was audio codes. They were tested and appoved with Rls 4.5 but no testing has been carried out on Rls 5. Try contacting audio codes direct see what they have to say it was about 1 month ago maybe some work has been done by them now.

I was told the same by Nortel, and the even told be that in the validation test they found some issues but I don't know what are they.

Thanks for the ini. We have finally made it work over H323 trunks. One of my colleagues tried a config disabling the t.38. There is no official H323 or SIP device except Quintum that is officially supported with Rls 5. As long as we do not have customer complains will be able to manage it. Would you like our config?
