Sorry if my english is not perfect.
Recently I made a 32 page catalog in InDesign cs3 but my client told me (after it was done, ha, ha!!) that he need the document in cs2. So, I save the document in .inx format and opened it in cs2. HORROR!!! Everything object placed from Illustrator and pictures as well, have a 1 pt black stroke around it. I had to remove them manually. The type was not affected by the conversion.
There was nothing in the cs3 document that is not compatible with cs2.
What can explain that???
Thank you so much!!!

Works ok When I do it here.

A4 Document placed same image 5 times, different places around the page and with no stroke.

It converted fine, no issues.

Can you replicate the problem again, but with a different file???

Marcus

Thank you MarcusStringer.
I have replicate the problem by creating a new doc in cs3, copying an illustration from Illustrator cs3 and paste it in this new cs3 doc. I also placed few images in the same doc. I save this new doc in .inx format and opened it in InDesign cs2. The same problem occured again: 1 pt black stroke around every image and EVERY PART of the illustration I pasted from Illustrator.
Again, the type was not affected by the conversion. It is still a big mystery to me.
For now, I will continue to push on my client to get InDesign cs3...
I suggest we sleep on that. Thank you!!!

Hi, MarcusStringer.
I have solve the problem simply by updating my InDesing CS2 (4.0.2) to CS2 (4.0.5). I should have check the Adobe site before for the update. Shame on me!!!
