Hi, We use virtual office on all our handset 1230's. People can change their autodial labels from the handset but I can't find how you change them via the system?

The labels must be stored on the CS1000 server as when you login to another phone the labels come with you. If the labels were local to the phone I wouldn't expect them to travel with you. Thanks in advanced!

Seems odd you can't change them from the system as they must be stored on the system for them to move from one phone to another using virtual office.

They are stored on the system but only changeable from the set.

So why if it's stored on the system can't you change it. I would of thought it's stored in plain tet format.

I'm sure if it stored on the system, it could be changed. Just not by anyone we know. I guess one could grep the files looking for that text string.

You can reprogram the ADL keys - but is it worth the trouble?
The ADL's are normally the responsibility of the user.

Sorry - I take my answer back (one should read the screen more carefully) - no - the labelling of the ADL key can only be changed at the set.
