Hi Guys,
Whats the right procedure "step-by-step" to shut down the CS1K/R:7.5? My plan would be keep only a core with 16 dgt critical extensions (this dgt ext. card is plugged on the same core shelf/slot), so this way I think I should save the battery bank.
Could you please help me on it? Thanks/

There is no real Reboot Procedure.

Do you want to do a Soft Reboot or a hard Reboot.
This is for the CS1000

For a hard reboot (you onsite in front of System)
Recommend being on port 0 as you will see boot-up routine
Always do a ld 43 edd 1st (unless you have a issue which started before last midnight routine)
If you have Call Pilot please shutdown 1st.
Then power off the cabinets

Leave off for as long as you want but allow at least 1 min before re boot.
Power up main cabinet 1st , wait about 10 sec and power up rest of cabinets.

Should take about 2 min depending on how many patches are loaded.

For Soft Reset (remote not on site)
Recommend being on port 0 as you will see bootup routine
Ld 43 edd
If you have Call Pilot please shutdown 1st.

Ld 143
XSL Sysload the system from the primary drive. Password: ohno

System will now do soft reset.
Faster than total power down.

Well, there at least 4 types of CS1K's so what do you have SG, MG, Cabinet, Chassis?????
