Hi!

Anyone that has CS1K Rls. 7.5 (co-resident CPDC) and Avaya Aura Contact Center 6.1 (two NICs, ELAN/CLAN) up and running?

We have problems getting the AACC services up and running agains CS1K ELAN (APPL DISABLED, ASM, TFE, VSM staring).

SERVER TASK: ENABLED
ELAN #: 16 DES: AACC
APPL_IP_ID: 172.25.35.6 LYR7: ACTIVE EMPTY APPL DISABLE

Master Script is in active state?

From my PBX colleagues I know that the ELAN and CLAN (for PBX release > 5.0), must be routed between them.

Can you ping ELAN IP of cc from LD 117.
From cc server, ping IP of pbx.

Yes, we just upgraded to CS1K 7.5 and have AACC 6.1 (and all services are up on CCMS)

I suspect you are using an AACC Essential License.

I have had two resellers reporting the same thing and one of them shipped their server and CS1K to us for further investigation.

The AML trace showed that AACC could not find a match for the Serial ID of the switch in its' database.

When we upgraded to a Nodal Enterprise License the services came up so clearly the problem was related to the Essential License and not the CS1K.

I then found that there is a Design Patch for AACC to fix this problem:

CCMS 6.1.203.13 - Essential License Fails to Update ccms.NBSwitch Table After Running Server Configuration

After installing this, running Server Configuration and rebooting the services all started.

The other reseller also confirmed this fixed their problem.

So make sure the Service Pack 3 patches are installed and request the DP from Avaya.

I have asked them to put this information in the Release Notes as it is a mandatory patch !

Thanks dakina, I'll ask for the DP and test.

I had a problem just like this where ASM, TFE and VSM would not come up. But I am running Avaya Contact Center 6.0 not Avaya Aura Contact Ctr . The problem for me started after I updated my Microsoft hot fixes. My problem ended up being MS hot patches. Because I had Internet Explorer installed, it down loaded hot fixes for IE. The fix was to remove the MS hot fixes that were installed for IE . After uninstalling services came right up. I know it is a different Contact Center version but just wanted to add a possible other avenue to look at if other steps don't work.

We installed the DP yesterday but it did not fix the problem. Avaya will investigate futher.

The DP did fix the problem. We had to run the Server Configuration two times to solve the problem.

Thanks dakina for the information!
