Hi All, recently we had a situation in which none of the CS 1000 sites(Surviable or otherwise) coudln't get incoming call working. We were getting Fast busy. However, outgoing calls and 4 digit dials were working fine. To fix the issue we had to hard reboot the CS 1000 box during middle of the day which was not a good thing. We also noticed the Leader SS rebooting just before the issue started to happen. If anyone had seen this before could you kindly let me know. Thanks.

Are you using Traditional PRIs for incoming, or using a SIP provider for incoming?

Thanks Pronei. Traditional PRI but we have a mixed environment(MCS5100 and CS1K)..Also we tried disabling CD2 and same issues.

If you are using traditional PRIs your signaling server wouldn't have caused the PBX hosting the PRI's to not allow incoming calls to users that reside on the hosting PBX.

Did you happen to STAT in LD 60 before you rebooted?

You simply may have had a threshold alarm that manually disabled your PRIs. Rebooting would solve that, but so would several other options that don't require rebooting.

yes we did STAT in ld 60 to make sure no LOOP or Channel issues. Also when we checked messaging CO was sendding correct digits...

After I verified the Loops were not taking calls correctly using DCH level 3 monitoring I would have done the following:

1. Dis DCH(s) in 96
2. DISL Loop(s) in 60
3. FDL the DCH/MSDL(s) in LD48
4. Disable DCH(s) again in 96
5. ENLL loop(s) in 60
6. Wait for DCH(s) to re-establish
7. SSCK CCs in 60, verify Tracking or Locked

If still not working, then depending on the system, check PerSigs (for cabinet model CS1000's) MGC's (CS1000E's)

If your running CS1000E, also make sure you have latest deplist's installed. Lots of weird problems like these addressed in patches included in Deplists.

Thanks again.
Di never did FDL the DCH/MSDL(s) in LD48....All other steps except 7 we did.
Also we are behind in patches..

Is LDN0 defined in LD 15 as a DN with the same number of Digits as your DID's?
