CS1000S 802.1p tag

Hi

I have a cs1000s rls 4.0t pbx with ip phones connected to it via nortel switches; qos is enabled on the system
802.p/q tag is enabled in element manager also the switches ports are tagged,
i have an ip set at a remote site that try to connect directly to cs1000S via vpn connection, it can't register unless i remove the 802.1p/q tag from element manager;
is there any workaround that lets me register the phone set
without removing the tag from element manager?

The very latest version of firmware has an option to disable 802.1q irrespective of what is configured in Element Manager.
