Hi,
I have a CS1000M rls 4 system that is not switching processors. It seems to be staying in sync mode(see below)

.stat cpu

cp 1 16 PASS -- ENBL

SYNCING
DISK STATE = REDUNDANT
HEALTH = 24
VERSION = Jul 28 2005, 04:14:02
Side = 1, DRAM SIZE = 512 MBytes

cp 0 16 PASS -- STDBY

SYNCING
DISK STATE = REDUNDANT
HEALTH = 24
VERSION = Jul 28 2005, 04:14:02
Side = 0, DRAM SIZE = 512 MByte
Also i cannot ping the Sig Servers from the CS1000M.
Any ideas or thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Thanks, Gillbo.

I've found this report below.

Machine stuck in syncing state
No true redundancy

Solution

Machine would not allow 'split' as it was trying to sync so engineers had to reload the offline cpu and this cured the problem .
The capture is shown below of the state the machine was in before the reload

stat cpu

cp 0 16 PASS -- ENBL

SYNCING
DISK STATE = REDUNDANT
HEALTH = 38
VERSION = Sep 16 2004, 08:23:50
Side = 0, DRAM SIZE = 256 MBytes

cp 1 16 PASS -- STDBY

SYNCING
DISK STATE = REDUNDANT
HEALTH = 38
VERSION = Sep 16 2004, 08:23:50
Side = 1, DRAM SIZE = 256 MBytes
