Can anyone tell me the difference between the Nortel NT6D41AD and NT6D41CA power supplies?

From Nortel Compatibility chart Aug 2008:-

NT6D41AA, AB & AD vintages are not suitable for CS 1000M SG / Option 61C CP PII / PIV,
CS 1000M MG / Opt 81C IGS CP PII & CS 1000M MG / Opt 81C CP PII / PIV FNF.
Only the CA & CAE5 can be used.

You can use the ad in the common equipment shelves. A core/net shelf has to be ca or cae5.
