What is the best way to perfom number translation for H323 trunking between BCM and CS1000? for example:

I call 1XXX - YYY - ZZZZ ;where ZZZ is my station
I want translate that to:

LOC + DN

you can do "Off-Net to On-Net" number recognition, so you have UDP setup between the sites with LOC in place?

yes I have UDP setup between the sites with LOC in place, how work the Off-Net to On-Net?

actually that applies to outgoing TIE, so maybe not the right APP. You could SPN xxx yyy, and DMI to del npa nxx and insert loc-DN

But I can do that with LOC, right? the problem is Im only able to use 3 digit location number and my NPA is always the same that means I can't make a difference between two site:

SiteA: 888 123 XXXX, where NPA=888=LOC NXX=123
SiteB: 888 456 XXXX, where NPA=888=LOC NXX=456

I saw that I can use a npa and nxx parameter in the location setup but I don't know how to use them.

it looks like you could make a difference if you had SPN 888123 and SPN 888456

You can accomplish this in NARS/BARS.

Build the NPA as an SPN with ARRN entries for your NXX range. Point that to an RLI that strips the 1-NPA-NXX and inserts LOC-XXXX on the H.323 route, then as a second entry in that RLI point to the PSTN with no DMI.

I tried but does't work maybe because my CS 1000 H323 setup if for Location network not for SPN, I got this not SPN:

Calling from 2155:
------------------

RIG TN 004 0 05 08 KEY 0 SCR MARP CUST 0 DN 2155 TYPE 3903
TERM NONE
DIAL DN 99995407444
CALL ID 460 1911

PROGRESS: ORIG ADDR IS NOT ISDN
CALLING #:2155 NUM PLAN: PRIVATE/UNKNOWN (UNKNOWN)
CALLED #:233 NUM PLAN: PRIVATE/NETWORK SPECIFIC (SPN)

DCH 10 IMSG CALLPROC REF 000001B8 CH 148 0 1 23 TOD 14:26:50

You can change the call type in NRS entries. They should match the call type in the PABX

If I want to use SPN instead of LOC, what I need to change in NRS?

When you use SPN in the PABX, the routing entry in NRS should be of type Private special.

The CS1000 outgoing dialing plan is working but the BCM's outgoing dialing plan is not, what I have to set for the BCM to use the SPN plan instead of the LOC plan, I think that is my issue.

I tried to change the BCM private network to CDP instead of UDP, maybe CDP is for SPN plan, but didn't work, Im reciving a busy tone, Im using SPN lenght=10 but the Private newtwork only allow me 7 digit, could it be problem? anyone could give me some advice.
