CS1000, we have 7998 as an access code for analog lines to dial long distance. This code is not working. Is there a way to verify this code or what is the CLS for analog lines to enable the ability for a long distance call
It might be that the ACOD 7998 route that it's assigned with has a TARG of 1 or 2 etc. Your phone may also have a TGAR of 1 or 2 etc. If it does then this maight prevent you from being able to dial the ACOD.

I printed the entire list and there was no record of ACOD 7998? This was the closet that at least the description would compare?

Hey Joe, sound like you need a little help with your system. You might want to call your local Nortel Vendor and have them come in to get you going. I'm not saying you don't know what you're doing, but you're real close. Get some help so your patients can dial ONE DIGIT to make a call. Not FOUR!

Need help?
come to find out that when the Local telco switched our incoming line to fiber, their new equipment had a long distance access code assigned. It was on the phone company end not ours.
