ok... I have many sites and one admin site that host all of my pri.. Did upgrade to 5.5 this weekend and everything worked great all sites communicated and were working.. This morning I get a call stating that one of my sites are down.. Here is the issue... ALL TDM phones can call all sites except my admin, which host all pri's therefore I cannot recieve any outgoing calls or make any outgoing calls. All ip phone are working (which register at admin) they cannot call my site from admin. I have checked many thing.. ie nrs, have pinged, reset sig serv and media card, did hard reset, All comes back up.. any suggestions

yes..

I will have to a visual check at my admin site in the morning.

Make sure you are checking both sites.....tdm sets at remote site will use a DSP there and the PRI at the primary site will use a DSP there.....it seems unless you have separated your DSPs at the primary that you have a DSP (VGW) problem at the single remote site. This could be that they are just down/UNREG for some reason, or you have changed a codec setting at the primary which only affected the single remote site. For example, all remote sites have G711 30ms available but during the upgrade, G729 got enabled at the primary site and is now used when it never was used in the past. Not saying that is specifically your issue, but that is just an example to help you think about something like that.

Hope this helps
Rob

Thanks for the reply.. I was thinking more along the lines of a NRS problem.. and after I reset the NRS this morning everthing came back up. So maybe we had a network glitch but I would think that it would connect back.. Who knows.

Thanks
