Looking for a tech in the LA (Baldwin Park) area to assist us configuring QSIG between a CS1000 and a ShoreTel. We can do the ShoreTel part, need someone familiar with CS1000 to assist in setup and troubleshooting. Message me directly for more details.

I have a QSIG config I can post if needed. Keep in mind there are packages you need in the CS1K to be able to program it. As well as needing the hardware to support the PRI and D-channel

As KCFLHRc indicated, This forum is here to assist and we can walk you through the process.

Thank you both but I was really looking for some on-site or remote assistance as I don't have any experience with CS1000 myself. The QSIG is already configured but we are having issues. When calling from ShoreTel to CS1000 the audio is very garbly/choppy. When calling from CS1000 to ShoreTel the audio quality is fine. I don't have access to the configuration of the CS1000 so I can't tell you how it's programmed. I can go on site and provide remote access if anyone is interested in helping (paid of course).

Sorry, cant help you directly. Conflict of interest and all that. Find someone local if you can. However, the call quality is more than likely not a configuration issue on the CS1K. But more than likely a network issue between the 2 switches. Is this a direct cable connection or does it go through a Telco or data network? Look here for configuration on both sides.

If you can post your Nortel config., then we can let you know if it is configured correctly.

I have a CS1000 with QSIG link set up to a Sonus SBC1000 gateway for interface with MS Lync 2010
Calls from internal extensions on the CS1000 to Lync appear through the Sonus as Anonymous. What should I check to ensure the DN is presented to the Sonus ?
Inbound DDI calls through the CS1000 that route to the Sonus pass the CLID fine , its only these internal calls that seem to block the calling number.

Put DCH monitor on (LD 96) and take a look at the setup message going out to the Sonus you will probably find a difference in CLI format between the two calls. Would suggest then it would be a matter of adding something in the Sonus to handle that.

what release of software is the CS1000? I know QSIG is standard now, but it wasn't always. I have done integration with Shoretel, but because the CS1000 did not have QSIG we ended up using NI2 and it worked well. Just need to set the Shoretel as the network leg (option on the Shoretel)and it will work.
