Good Morning All,

We are experiencing a lot of 911 hang-ups and I think it is due to the dialing "9" for an outside line. Has any changed that number (9) before and if so, is it something I can do without contacting out for? Thank you.

I am all for it Gene, I would love some assistance. I can tell you this, we do not have Misdial Prevention enabled.

Gene, when I try a PRT in LD24, I get the following:

When I do a PRT in LD 90, I get the following:

REQ prt
CUST 0
FEAT
DTC001

NET
TRAN AC1
TYPE SPN

SPN

SPN 0
FLEN 0
INPL NO
CLTP NONE
RLI 0
SDRR NONE
ITEI NONE

SPN 011
FLEN 0
INPL NO
CLTP NONE
RLI 3
SDRR NONE
ITEI NONE

SPN 11
FLEN 0
CLTP NONE
RLI 2
SDRR NONE
ITEI NONE

We ended up doing this as the interim fix: http://www.ghtrout.com/files/911_misdial_prevention.html

Geepers36 had an NXX=911 and an SPN=11 - We converted the NXX to an SPN.

Then we added the proper FLEN, then SDRR=DENY of 0 thru 9

For learning ESA, we talked about using 411 or 611 as test numbers to get the feel for ESA.

Thank you Gene. Enabling Misdial Prevention was the right way to go. No need to send an email to the users telling them to use "8" instead of "9". Thank you again Gene.
