Could you please help and tell me where this problem resolution is? When I do "dsphwcheck" from ldb> -- I get a reult that "Invalid type defined in the mgcdb.xml for daughterboard1" (Same for daughterboard2). How do I correct this?

Is it possible you have the low density and high density daughter boards in the wrong slots on the MGC card?

XML is stored in /u/ipmg/mgc/<loop shelf> it is configured from EM under the MGC's. You can cat the xml files in PDT, you can also query the dsp hardware type at MGC CLI

MGC CLI
oam> dbhwshow
DB1 model and revision no: NTDW64AA

NTDW64 = 96 channels
NTDW62 = 32 channels

On call server if I want to view XML for this in pdt then

cd /u/ipmg/mgc/0040
cat mgcdb.xml

find
</MGC>
<DSPDB1>
<TYPE>DB96</TYPE>

Like i say easiest place to look at it is in EM

Thanks very much for the responses and the direction provided. I found that the DSP card I had was defective.
